How does Intrinsa work?

The level of testosterone in surgically post-menopausal women depletes rapidly, thereby affecting the sexual life of many women. What is the recommended dosage of Intrinsa?

Intrinsa patches contain 8.4 mg of testosterone, releasing 300 micrograms of testosterone over the period of 24 hours. Intrinsa patches should be changed every 3 to 4 days otherwise their effectiveness will begin to diminish. As an example, if you begin your Intrinsa treatment on a Sunday, the next patch should be applied on a Wednesday.

What are the side effects of Intrinsa?

Intrinsa is available in the patch form. Thus, the side effects from testosterone pills are drastically reduced in Intrinsa testosterone patches. Possible common side effects at the site of application are:
