Parkinson’s disease, also referred to as Parkinson disease or PD, affects an estimated 4million people worldwide. It is a degenerative disorder affecting the central nervous system and often impairs sufferer’s control over muscle movements and rigidity. The four main symptoms of Parkinson Disease are tremors or trembling, stiffness of the limbs, slowness of movement and impaired balance and coordination. The early-stage symptoms are very subtle at first but after time the problems may begin to interfere with patient’s ability to perform daily activities.
