What is the recommended dosage of Propecia?
The recommended dose of Propecia hair-loss treatment is 1mg tablet a day, to be taken with a full glass of water. After buying Propecia, men should take the medication regularly as stated to see the best results. The intake of food does not affect this medication.
How does Propecia work?
Propecia pills contain the active ingredient Finasteride, a type II 5-alpha reductase drug which inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT is a hormone that forms on the scalp when testosterone and enzyme type II 5-alpha reductase react with each other. The produced sex hormone (DHT) is a key cause in hair loss, constricting the visible hair follicles and reducing the visibility of them.
After buying Propecia and starting the hair loss treatment, the overall DHT levels stabilize and remain low enough such that the adverse effects of DHT on the follicles stop. This results in the reversal of the hair loss process.
Will Propecia work for me?
In clinical studies testing of safety and efficiency of Propecia medication, results proved that 2 out of 3 men taking Propecia re-grew hair as measured by actual hair counts over time. In contrast, it was found men taking a placebo in the same study lost hair.
When will I see Propecia results?
After you buy Propecia and take the hair loss pills daily, results can be seen in as little as 3 months. However, if you stop taking Propecia, your results will gradually go away over 12 months. And if Propecia hasn't worked for you in 12 months, further treatment is unlikely to be of any benefit.
What are the side effects of Propecia?
Like all prescription medication for hair-loss, Propecia can cause a number of side effects however it should be noted that the chances of having any side effects at all are low. A small number of men reported having sexual side effects. These men reported feeling one or more of the following:
- Less desire for sex
- Difficulty in achieving an erection
- Decrease in the amount of semen
In American clinical studies, each of the above mentioned side effects occurred in less than 2% of men. These side effects are generally reversible in nature and go away once you stop taking Propecia. They also disappeared in most men who continued buying Propecia once their body adjusted to the medication.
Allergic reactions to Finasteride in Propecia are as follows:
- Allergic reactions including rash
- Itching
- Hives
- Swelling of the lips and face
- Problems with ejaculation
- Breast tenderness and enlargement
- Testicular pain
You should promptly report to your doctor any changes in your breasts such as lumps, pain or nipple discharge.
Who can order Propecia?
Propecia 1mg pills can be prescribe only for men. It is not safe for women to use Propecia. It should also not be taken by children. You should not order Propecia if you are allergic to Finasteride or any of its ingredients. It is very important to know that women who currently or who may become pregnant must not come into contact with the tablets, in any form (this includes crushed and broken tablets). Finasteride has been proven to cause birth defects in developing male babies; therefore exposure to Propecia should be avoided wherever possible. |
