How does Retin-A work?
Retin-A cream works by increasing the cell turnover on the areas of the skin applied, hence extracting plugged dirt and materials that your body alone would not manage to remove. Retin-A also helps to stop new sebaceous skin material (also known as comedones) from forming.
How do I apply/use Retin-A?
Retin-A cream should be applied at night in a thin layer. In the morning you should wash your face with a facial scrub to help reduce any flaking. A moisturizer will also help to reduce any possible dryness/flaking. A common side effect of Retin-A is increased sensitivity to light, so a moisturizer that contains sunscreen is also advised.
